Position Summary:

  • I ncrease market penetration by setting appointments, delivering products updates and proactively cultivating new prospects.
  • I ncrease market penetration by setting appointments, delivering products updates and proactively cultivating new prospects.
  • Make outbound sales calls to financial advisors within the assigned region(s) to promote Cantor Fitzgerald's financial products
  • Work directly with the External Wholesaler(s) to coordinate sales and support efforts.
  • Maintain strong investment knowledge of Cantor Fitzgerald's strategies and operations.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with assigned External Wholesaler(s) to effectively manage assigned region(s).
  • Make outbound and receive inbound calls to existing and prospective clients and offices within assigned region(s) to promote Cantor Fitzgerald's products and uncover cross-selling opportunities.
  • Assist External Wholesaler(s) with setting appointments, maintaining schedules, and meeting follow-ups as requested.
  • Share best practices and assist the sales team with identifying top sales opportunities.
  • Develop sales ideas and increase sales through targeted proactive sales campaigns.
  • Understand and be able to communicate Cantor Fitzgerald investments' philosophy and process.
  • Stay abreast of and be able to articulate the current positioning of firm's strategies, recent changes in key holdings, and investment results compared to benchmarks.
  • Interact/communicate with investment and non-investment staff regarding various investment policies, procedures and issues.
  • Maintain and enhance investment knowledge through continuing education and interaction with the investment team
  • Enter data from conversations, meetings, and field support into customer relationship management software.


Qualifications/Skill Set:

  • Two or more years of experience in a sales or sales support role in financial services.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and related products, distribution, pricing, and support.
  • Self-motivated with an initiative and desire to succeed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Must have Series 7

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics, investments or related business discipline.
  • Series 7
