BNY Mellon is seeking a CRM Business Analyst. Responsibilities include:

  • The CRM Business Analyst will provide keysupport for the Senior CRM Business Analysts. As a key member of the CRM Team, the incumbent may also interface withsenior members of the Investment Firm(s) served.

  • The CRM Business Analyst will support theanalysis, identification, and prioritization of business requirements forcomplex integrations of existing and new systems into the Asset Management CRMsystem.

  • Responsible for understanding the businessprocesses and requirements, and assist development of detailed requirementsdocumentation for the technical team, which will be used to build customizedapplications for the particular group.

  • S/He must be able to support such functions formedium to large-scale projects with moderate oversight. S/He will work across multiple globalinternal business and technology groups and support initiatives from theinitial planning through requirements documentation, testing, training,implementation and on-going support. S/Hewill collaborate with the technical architects, developers and project managerthroughout the process, as well as the Investment Firm(s) supported.

  • S/He will support the relationship with his/herassigned business group(s) which would comprise multiple Investment Firms withover >100 users. S/He will supportthese relationships and ensure that clients are kept abreast of new CRM systemfunctionality and how it can benefit each group. S/He will track each group's evolvingbusiness needs and ensure that the system functionality supports them.

  • This individual interacts with various levels ofthe business groups as well as technology. S/He will prepare meeting materials and lead meetings with seniormanagers of the lines of business and technology.


  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent work experience. Concentration in Business or Finance preferred.

  • 8 years' experience. 6-8 years of Financial Services experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce CRM system. S/He should have strong knowledge of all areas of the application and eventually understand the key attributes of the multiple customized applications. In addition, the Business Analyst should have experience with best-in-class methods, tools and techniques for elicitation and documentation of client needs and requirements. S/He must be able to support the analysis of client requirements, tracking of project progress, managing issues and risks, and identify potential roadblocks. S/he much have strong communication and presentation skills, as well as skilled at elicitation requirements from senior stakeholders.

  • Should have experience in functional and UAT test planning, test case development and execution.

  • Should have experience in hands-on PC training classes and creation of training materials.

  • Strong interpersonal skills required. The incumbent will interface with IT, contractors, Investment Firm users and the broader CRM business team.

  • S/He must develop a strong understanding of each Investment Firm, as well as the CRM system in order to be the interface with Department Heads. Must be able to liaise with all levels of staff across these departments to resolve issues.
