The Operations division is both the first line of defense for protecting Morgan Stanley's financial and reputational well-being, and an essential partner contributing to the firm's growth. Facing off to all Morgan Stanley businesses and interacting with all other parts of the Firm, the Operations division supports a complex, multi-faceted portfolio of businesses in full compliance with regulatory guidelines and the directives of the Operating Committee and Board of Directors.

Members of the Operations team have a unique vantage point as the division touches all parts of the business, front to back. One of the largest divisions in the firm, Operations has diverse responsibilities, including correctly settling and recording millions of transactions per day, identifying and mitigating all operational risks, developing strong client relationships and partnering with technology to realize the full potential of IT and e-solutions. Throughout, we continually strive to improve while actively supporting the development of new businesses, structures and markets.

Primary Responsibilities:
The open position is a Director / Associate role within Global Operations COO Support team focused on Project Managing and Execution of the Global Operations Commercial Reporting Team. The candidate should be a dynamic individual who has a solid understanding of process re-engineering and a strong project management discipline. This individual must have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, be able to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously, feel comfortable partnering with Technology, communicating with all levels of staff and have a history of consistently executing against plan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Project Management and Reporting
- Working with the stakeholders to prioritize work and drive milestones
- Defining solutions (process-based, reporting-based, technology-based) to business issues
- Implementing processes, tool and reporting solutions
- Liaising with IT colleagues to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood
- Creating Project Plan, Project Charters, Test cases etc. and do UAT for projects managed
- Developing an effective network of relationships across Operations

Qualifications:

Skills Required:

- Overall experience of 4 - 6 years with minimum 2 - 3 years process improvement, business analysis, and project management experience. Experience in Business Management, Reporting, Analytics & MIS is preferred.
- Clear understanding of project management and business analysis approaches. Demonstrated experience in managing projects through the various phases of project management lifecycle.
- Keen attention to detail

- Fluency with all MS Office tools
