Group Overview
Equity Capital Markets (ECM) is responsible for originating, structuring and executing equity transactions on behalf of the firm's corporate and financial sponsor clients. Typical transactions include IPOs, follow-ons, convertibles, private placements, and spin-offs. ECM professionals sit at the nexus of Investment Banking coverage and Sales & Trading and lead equity and equity-linked transactions across all industry groups and geographies.  

This Role - Associate (Tech)
This opening is for an Associate in the ECM Technology group. This group is responsible for origination and execution of permanent capital solutions for some of the firm's highest profile clients. This includes companies in the software, internet solutions and services space.

Qualifications

Associates have a distinguished record of academic achievement, a high level of personal integrity, strong understanding of finance and accounting and an interest in the equity markets.

  • Combination of prior ECM plus M&A or Banking experience, considered a plus
Experience/Degree:
minimum of 3 years of investment banking or finance experience and/or an MBA/JD
