CIB - Global Trade - Core Products Executive - Managing Director
Position Summary:

J.P. Morgan is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the Global Trade Core Product organization. Core Products in Global Trade include all of the documentary products, trade loans standby/ guarantee letters of credit, delivery channels and FI products. The Senior Product Manager has global accountability and ownership for the P&L and the end to end product effectiveness for these products through the leadership of other product managers and their teams who support specific products within that suite.

The position will base in New York or London, depending on mutual fit.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Product Strategy:
    • Has a strategic vision of where the products are going over the next 3-5 years
    • Can articulate the strategy at a regional and market segment level.
    • Takes into account competition, market dynamics, macro-economic and regulatory impacts
  • Manage Product Profitability:
    • Understands market pricing and business return requirements
    • Manages the cost dynamics including operations, technology, sales and capital
  • New Product Development and Modification:
    • Ensure feedback loop from sales and other market sources to identify opportunities
    • Define business requirements and sponsor projects, initiatives to deliver appropriate capabilities
    • Rollout of new capabilities
  • Manages product delivery effectiveness
    • Ensures product compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
    • Define and monitor delivery processes and customer service standards
    • Proactively remove barriers
  • Partners with Regional Management and Functional partners to achieve product goals
  • Represent JP Morgan in various industry initiatives which shape the future of the business
  • Lead and develop a team of product managers of various levels of competence and maturity



Qualifications:

  • Outstanding knowledge of trade services forboth Financial institutions and Corporates
  • In depth of knowledge of all trade products;understanding of how customers use trade products
  • Global Trade experience
