CIB – Equity Research – Payments, Processors & IT Services - Analyst/Associate
As an Analyst/Associate inEquity Research, you may help to conduct and facilitate industry analysis andcompany-specific coverage. This involves core research ranging from dissectingearnings releases and regulatory filings to assessing relevant news events,modeling financial statements and industry dynamics, performing detailedvaluation work, writing research notes and sector pieces, and speaking tointernal/external clients and management teams about the stocks/sector. You will work with our partners in both sales and trading to providecomprehensive client coverage, including fulfilling client requests for marketupdates and market intelligence. Research is fast-paced, demanding andintellectually stimulating. We look for candidates who possess strongaccounting, finance, quantitative and business writing/communication skills, aswell as modelling, forecasting, and valuation experience.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities,including:

· Experience in research,investment banking or another analytical and demanding role

The candidate should have 2-4 years of research or investment banking experience, ideally in an industrial sector. We look for intellectually curious candidates with a strong work ethic, an advanced level of proficiency in Excel, superior written and oral communication skills, and a passion for the markets. An MBA or CFA is a plus.
Candidates should be adaptable and have the ability to work well under pressure in a sometimes-intense environment, and should also be able to work independently to produce accurate, detailed materials while meeting tight deadlines.
