CAO F&BM - Firmwide Business Resiliency, Business Manager - Executive Director
Business Overview:
Resiliency is a key area of focus for the Operating Committeeand is a top priority on the 2019 regulatory agenda. The successful candidatewill be based in New York and will report to the Firmwide Head of BusinessResiliency. Firmwide Business Resiliency (FBR) is responsible fordetermining the firm's resiliency strategy, including setting the standards andanalyzing the data necessary to articulate a risk-based view of the firm'sresiliency capabilities. The FBR team works as part of a consolidated virtualorganization with LOB Resiliency teams and Technology Resiliency toexecute against the firm's resiliency strategy.



Job Description:
The Business Manager willsupport FBR's strategic initiatives and day to day operations. Thecandidate will act as a trusted advisor to the Head of FBR and will workclosely with the FBR management team and other functional partners within thefirm to deliver the team's objectives.

CandidateResponsibilities:
  • Support senior management team agendas, priorities and meetings,business reviews, town halls, offsites and related follow-ups
  • Develop presentation materials for various audiences includingsenior management
  • Plan, track and report on financials, headcount and key metricsincluding annual budget and monthly forecasting
  • Review and analyze trends and provide commentary for primarydrivers and variances
  • Work closely with partners in LOB Resiliency teams, HR, Finance,Technology and other internal functions
  • Analyze, develop and propose enhancements to current businessprocesses, reports, and applications in order to optimize effectiveness
  • Oversight of realestate/location strategy needs and space planning

Qualifications:
  • 8 years of experience in operational roles, risk relateddisciplines, consulting, strategy development, business management and/orfinance
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level ofpersonal initiative
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with theability to create concise communication materials for senior management
  • Advanced analytical skills, problem solving, good criticalthinking and decision-making skills; able to develop, clearly present and drawconclusions
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues
  • Self-motivated and driven to identify areas of businessimprovement
  • Ability to prioritize and drive efforts across various groupsand be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time while having excellenttime management skills
