Your team

Technology & Operations is the backbone for both the client lifecycle and the investment lifecycle. The group's Follow the Sun Model ensures that the firm's operations are consistent and efficient across all investment products, client channels and regions, helping to deliver a superior client experience and drive scalability. Technology & Operations is driven by a global network of Operating Centers of Excellence, which centralizes knowledge and equips support teams with the data and timely information needed to innovate and deliver on behalf of internal partners and clients.

BlackRock's Technology & Enterprise Service Group strives to provide BlackRock Employees with robust technology infrastructure and strategic workplace solutions to deliver a consistent employee experience around the world, while handling information security and data integrity. Teams aligned to support the firm's functions.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with executive team to ensure strategic alignment; facilitate regular cadence to ensure successful execution

  • Have a strategic mind set and able to join the dots across multiple initiatives

  • Operational assistance to leads from Web Tech Engineering and Technology Infrastructure teams with presentation materials, data analysis, customer/vendor relationship management

  • Manage recruiting pipeline and budget reviews

  • Guiding various aspects of commitments and deliverables

  • Prioritizing incoming requests

  • Assisting with long term planning

  • Providing your own unique insight to the leaders in your areas of strength


You Have:

  • Track and drive initiative across varying partners

  • Ensuring the leader(s) is fully prepped on issues and possible solutions and can see the potential future opportunities

  • Preparing and/or pulling together presentation materials and talking points.

  • Ability to learn both technology and business concepts/contents quickly

  • Executive presence with high energy

  • Transformative and strategic problem solver, who seeks out opportunities and proposes solutions. The ability to dedicatedly solve problems to meet deadlines in an exciting environment and prioritize opposing demands

  • Interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to read others and react accordingly. Strong collaboration skills. Able to influence without direct control and demonstrate developed decision-making capability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including simplifying sophisticated information. Strong English proficiency

  • Detail oriented

Our hybrid work pilot

BlackRock's current hybrid work pilot is designed to help you experience the best of both worlds: the opportunity to connect with colleagues in person and the flexibility to work remotely, with greater time to focus on what's important to you. In line with local health guidance and regulations, employees are generally expected to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home (on average) each week. For some business groups, more time may be required in the office, while greater flexibility may be in place for others.
