Business Development Representatives at CFRA establish relationships with potential clients at Wealth Management firms, Institutional Investors, Independent Advisors and Corporations. They are responsible for identifying new, potential CFRA clients by proactively researching firms, individual contacts and reaching out through a variety of channels. They will introduce future clients to CFRA’s leading equity research and forensic accounting research, data, analytics and advisory services. The position offers upward potential into more senior sales or account management opportunities based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create prospect lists based on various criteria, analyze potential client data and conduct research to clean up target company details prior to outreach
  • Assist in creating Marketing Campaigns including email, webinar, partners tradeshows, and events
  • Generate leads through individual research, outbound calling, email communications, and other direct marketing methods
  • Coordinate meetings between senior team members and contacts at prospective clients
  • Schedule and participate in demonstrations of CFRA’s products and services
  • Ensure successful handoff of prospects to senior Sales staff
  • Track activities through the CRM system
  • Ad hoc projects
  • Collaborate with senior team members to retain and grow existing client relationships

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in the financial or information services industry
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to identify new opportunities and document outreach efforts
  • Strong organization and time management skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a larger team
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Interest in financial markets, investment research and analysis
  • Proficiency with Excel required
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong communication skills
