Our team:
Data Strategy & Operations team within Contracts & Exchanges is a team that is comprised of product owners for major functionality used across the department, data analytics, and overseas resources for our dedicated Engineering teams. Our team works with our internal teams and businesses around the organization to streamline the workflows, reduce risk, and champion improvements to controls and drive better business results.

We are looking to hire a Business Controls Auditor who will be responsible for the design and implementation of audit processes and methodologies, developing a customized audit program, planning and performing operational audits to ensure compliance with corporate standards, Exchange Market Data standards, and generally accepted internal audit standards.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter and who is comfortable in working with minimal supervision. As this position will involve meeting with both business personnel, we need someone with excellent communication skills who can effectively communicate complex issues.

We will trust you to:
  • Prepare and execute scheduled audits including planning, preparation, reporting and follow-up in accordance with accepted professional practices
  • Act as an independent reviewer to ensure that risk areas are being appropriately evaluated
  • Develop audit scopes, including assigning internal controls and risk areas
  • Document all information pertaining to audit results including findings, opportunities, and observations
  • Coordinate and conduct special audits, investigations, and/or ad-hoc projects with minimal supervision and direction
  • Prepare Audit and Executive Summary reports and follow up on remedial action

You'll need to have:
  • 3 years of internal business controls audit experience
  • Understanding of generally accepted internal controls with the ability to evaluate and determine the adequacy of control design and operating effectiveness
  • Experience in reviewing system controls within business processes (application controls)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to work well with colleagues at all levels
  • Experience in reviewing system controls within business processes (application controls)
  • Ability to work independently, think analytically, conduct research, analyze data and resolve problems
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure, able to manage deadlines and multi-tasks

We'd love to see:
  • Experience within financial services, an Exchange, or the Market Data industry
