Job Description:

Team Overview:

  • The team's core responsibility is to provide Business Analysis and Project Management coverage for the US Equities Electronic Trading Technology development organization. We cover the ETT core trading applications, GUIs, risk validation technology, and supporting applications. The ETT group supports both internal and external clients for Equities, Options, and Futures trade flows. The open position will support our data and analytics project space covering the Equities front office trading organization.

Job Overview:
  • The Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) ETT PM / BA will work in very closely with the Business Sponsor and Development lead to own the Equities streaming Data and Analytics engines. We have significant focus on set of challenging projects that are key to the business enablement strategy.
  • ETT PMs are expected to develop an SME status within their respective area of service including deep knowledge on the application set's release management, development queue, and stakeholder base.
  • Business Analysis responsibilities require:
    • Development of strong relationships with the core stakeholders including product management and numerous technology teams
    • Documentation of business requirements and translation to technical design and impact specifications
    • Understanding of FIX protocol and ability to trouble shoot application issues
This role will include working on both:
  • The management of an existing book of work supporting the current production product set, as well as
  • Multi-year initiatives involving application design, build, deployment and migration
  • Responsibilities will include:
    • Coordination of large cross functional deliveries
    • Management of an ongoing application backlog and SDLC process
    • Initiative and project governance reporting
    • Release management
This role will be primary located in Lower Manhattan, NY
