RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, NY. Manage high-risk, complex technology projects from initiation to implementation across multiple divisions using effective planning, project governance, communication, and risk management strategies. Perform detailed business and technology impact analysis; develop and execute test plans spanning across multiple systems and business lines. Form strong partnerships with global business counterparts to solicit business requirements and implement strategic technology solutions and ensure continuous delivery of product features. Business requirements writing using Confluence, Coordinating and tracking all projects for seamless releases using Project Management tools such as JIRA , Source Code Management System SVN and Document Management System SharePoint. Manage Global Liquidity Service (GLS) Portal product delivery streams between business stakeholders and actual developers which includes data analysis and translating business requirements to technical requirements. Experience with software development methodologies and practices such as agile, waterfall etc. Strong SQL skills in relational databases. Facilitate sprint planning, sprint poker, daily scrums, retrospectives, stakeholder meetings, and software demonstrations. Educate and reinforce scrum methodology and agile framework to team members and key stakeholders. Communicate and escalate issues to senior stakeholders. Provide supervision, guidance, and mentoring to other junior professional staff.
Job Requirements: Master's degree or Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field. Must have two (2) years of experience (if Master's) or five (5) years of experience (if Bachelor's) in the job offered or in a related position. Must have two (2) years of experience (if Master's) or five (5) years of experience (if Bachelor's) with each of the following: Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including business analysis, design, modeling, UAT testing and support; SQL programming in Sybase ASE and DB2 DBMS platforms; using JIRA, Confluence, and Sharepoint toolsets; running scrums and working with Agile methodology across various facets of the project; communicating complex technical concepts in a simple manner to various stakeholders; using MS Project, MS PowerPoint and MS Visio; and working in the financial services industry, with focus on Sales, Shareholder Services and Liquidity Portal within Asset Management.
