Associate Lead Analyst 1
Job Description Responsibilities will include assuming the lead analyst role for the rating of US RMBS transactions and other securitizations of mortgage-related collateral. The analysis will include analyzing collateral pools, deal structures and cash flows using Moody's in-house models, Excel and other quantitative and qualitative methods to formulate independent credit opinions and present them to rating committees. The analysis will also include reviewing legal documents and third party due diligence reports. Responsibilities will also include performing reviews of originators & services and enhancing existing analytical models. The candidate is also expected to publish timely, insightful and in-depth research and transaction reports, interact effectively with market participants and speak knowledgeably at conferences and investor briefings.

- Strong academic record (both graduate and undergraduate)
- Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of experience in Finance, experience in credit/securitization a plus
- Candidate should have a minimum of Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
- Fundamental credit skills including both qualitative and quantitative aptitude
- Solid Microsoft Excel skills mandatory
- Strong oral and written communication capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work closely with others as well as independently to produce accurate, detailed work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is a must
