Associate Director, Credit Assessment

Duties & accountabilities
The Analyst's duties include:

  • Performing analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing the credit quality of corporate debt issuers, including assessment of financial statements, economic data, industry trends, and other issuer-specific data
  • Preparing detailed high-quality research reports on individual corporate issuers across industries and geographies
  • Contributing to the design and enhancement of the financial models used to perform credit assessments
  • Working with management to build and maintain client relationships
  • Attending relevant industry events to broaden your knowledge and experience within the alternative asset industry
Business competencies
Education and experience
Strong credit background - understanding of fundamental credit analysis, including ability to research industries, competitive positions, and financial statements
Minimum of undergraduate degree is required. CFA (or in process of obtain qualification) will be considered a significant plus
Should have a thorough knowledge of leading financial and business issues and a strong interest in current events
Advanced financial modelling skill in Excel
Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, and PowerPoint
Commercial awareness
In-depth knowledge of several industry sectors, e.g. Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, Real Estate Development, Energy, Metals & Mining, or Software & IT Services
Experience of building and maintaining client relationships
