Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, NY. Serve as senior developer, responsible for developing and supporting applications for investing and lending businesses. Lead Projects through all the stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including providing work estimates and raising critical project issues such as technical/project risks. Work directly with users to procure requirements and communicate ideas clearly and concisely to non-technical users of our systems. Formulate design and implementation requirements in the system following coding best practices and utilizing Object-Oriented programming and design patterns concepts. Design, develop, test, build and deploy applications in Java, J2EE, JavaScriAA, Spt and SecDb. Build systematic and ad-hoc reports using SQL and/or No-SQL. Engage in test-driven development by writing Unit tests and RegTests. Talk to Traders/Operations/Controllers on a regular basis, understand their concerns and address them. Support existing legacy systems and new systems that we build on a regular basis. Train and mentor analysts and other associates within the team locally and globally. Must be willing to work with proprietary technologies; no knowledge of proprietary technologies is required pre-hire.

Job Requirements: Master's degree or Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus three (3) years of experience (if Master's) or five (5) years of experience (if Bachelor's) in the job offered or in a related software development role utilizing Java and J2EE. Must have three (3) years of experience (if Master's) or five (5) years of experience (if Bachelor's) in each of the following: building applications and reports using object oriented programming in Java; utilizing the SDLC (Software Development life cycle) under a test-driven approach by writing unit tests and RegTests, performing deployment and continuous integration, configuration management, documentation, maintenance and refactoring; writing SQL queries and Stored Procedures to extract data from the Relational Databases; and Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Design and Development of Web Applications. Front-end and User Interface (UI) using Web Technologies including JavaScript, AngularJS, D3js, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS and backend services using Java, REST and J2EE Frameworks; supporting applications for financial products, including Fixed Income Securities, Mortgage Whole Loans, Derivatives and Securities; developing software applications for Financial Models; enterprise Job scheduling tools, such as Autosys; build tools including Maven and Jenkins; and testing frameworks including Junit and Jasmine. Must have one (1) year of experience with NoSQL database including MongoDB and ElasticDB.
