RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, NY. Multiple positions available. Design, develop and test software solutions on critical projects to create scale in the Global Portfolio Solutions asset management business to automate and streamline processes related to client data management, risk analysis, client reporting, portfolio management, and trading. Responsible for every stage of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) process, including gathering requirements, software design, implementation, testing, release management, and production support. Provide business and/or analytical support to assigned functional areas of the Firm by conducting strategic and tactical risk analyses. Provide daily support to trading activity systems and promptly resolve issues that may arise. Participate in development, testing and support of both client and server-side systems in a dynamic environment, utilizing Java, HTML5, JavaScript or C#/.NET, as well as Database Management Systems (DBMS), such as Microsoft SQL-Server, Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB or Elasticsearch. Support existing data strategy by building infrastructure to support the analytics reported to external clients on a daily and monthly basis.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Utilizing object oriented (OO) programming languages, such as JAVA, C++, C#, or Python to develop software, as well as DBMS, including Microsoft SQL server, Oracle or Sybase; Using HTML5 and JavaScript programming for web development, including web-based user interface software; Using tools and techniques for automated regression testing of front end user interfaces and/or back end services to develop high quality software; One or more software version control technologies, such as Concurrent Version System (CVS), Apache SVN, or Git; and Demonstrating familiarity with database query languages, such as SQL, as well as NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB and Elastic to build software that interacts with back-end databases.
