Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Multiple positions available. Apply statistical and financial modeling techniques to develop risk hedging strategies for equity derivatives. Develop models for automated pricing and market making of equity derivatives, calculating bids and offers, taking into account asset liquidity, expected moves and risk. Develop an infrastructure for the implementation of strategies and automated pricing in order to backtest performance across several years, for hundreds of equity assets, utilizing parallel computing and large scale databases. Develop large-scale, low-latency automated trading systems for equity derivatives. Develop process to automate work flow of the trading desk, Request for Quote (RFQs), and pricing tools. Develop processes for market calibration of equity derivatives models, such as volatility surface calibration.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematical Finance or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related quantitative finance position. Must have two (2) years of experience with: implementing and using methods for data analysis, such as regression, hypothesis testing, machine learning and data mining; developing trading and hedging strategies, and trading and relative value signals; developing low-latency, large-scale automated trading systems for equity derivatives; developing equity derivatives pricing models and calibrating model parameters; analyzing market and trade flow data; analyzing risks and risk dynamics of equity derivatives products; and utilizing knowledge of computer science such as data structures and algorithms, databases, and programming languages such as Python and C++.
