Associate/VP, G10 FX Short-Term Interest Rate Trading
Job Description:

The G10 FX Short-Term Interest Rate Trading team, in Bank of America's Foreign Exchange Group is responsible for market making and managing risk in all manner of G10 interest rate products. The group has trading desks in New York, London, Singapore and Paris. New York FX STIRT is the primary facilitator for all FX Forwards and short dated G10 Cross Currency Swaps - which encompasses high proficiency and understanding of central bank policy and interest rate curve. Hedging includes trading of foreign exchange, interest rate futures, interest rate swaps and forward rate agreements.

FX STIRT traders act as the center of information and excellence within global foreign exchange and funding and work closely with their counterparts in global derivatives products. G10 FX STIRT prices all deals coming to the bank through the global FX sales force. This includes institutional clients, large corporations, hedge funds, central banks and other investors.

Responsibilities
  • Support market making FX Forwards and short dated Cross Currency Swaps - booking, pricing, trade analysis.
  • Supporting Desk administration, End-of-Day processes, and regulatory responsibilities
  • Managing a broad range of risks associated with FX Swaps and Interest rate products
  • Building and maintaining G10 Interest rate pricing models
  • Analyzing Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate markets, including central bank policy
  • Monitoring and maintaining certain regulatory and internal risk and liquidity limits
  • Production of leading thought leadership and market color pertaining to global foreign exchange markets

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of trading experience
  • Deep and abiding interest in Macroeconomics * international political economy
  • Highly analytical
  • Extraordinarily hard worker
