Analyze and publish research reports on a range of environmental, social and governance topics, including climate change, environmental regulations, the circular economy, and diversity. Assist in the preparation of research reports across a range of ESG topics, including conducting primary research and data gathering. Monitor and track research published by the US analysts to aid in idea generation around fixed income and governance ESG themes. Work with various sector analysts on collaborative cross-sector research reports. Assist execution of department-wide ESG publications and data initiatives. Monitor and track sustainability-related news flows. Assist internal sales and trading teams and external clients with research requests, as well as the communication of published research reports.
Requires a Master's degree in Computational and Mathematical Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as a Government Bond Trader, Associate, Analyst, or a closely related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience with: Bloomberg; fixed income analysis including performance trends, issuance trends, and liquidity measures; writing communication on market trends and changes; data cleaning, prep, and sorting. Requires two (2) years of experience with: Excel data visualization; regression analysis for assessing fixed income; data visualization; actionable investable ideas; fixed income modeling. Requires one (1) year of experience with: Python; algorithms and data structures; Excel vlookups. Requires any amount of experience with: Excel pivot tables; PowerPoint. Requires Series 63 and 7 license.
