Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate-Finance with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Source and execute structured credit transaction opportunities in Latin America through network of Firm relationships. Lead meetings with client management teams and negotiate investing and lending terms. Model complex structured credit securities with detailed multi-year projections. Lead investment approval processes in internal Firm committees. Present business models, investment theses and key risks to senior management of the Firm. Engage, oversee and coordinate multi-tiered diligence streams such as third party consultants, independent engineers, and insurance advisors. Work with internal and external legal counsel on the drafting of transaction documents. Negotiate complex financial terms and transaction documentation with counterparties. Work with rating agencies in obtaining credit ratings for debt capital markets transactions. Develop and maintain market risk models. Develop appropriate risk hedging strategies for the desk's positions. Supervise two (2) Analysts. Travel to Latin America on a bimonthly basis to meet with Firm clients. Create presentations for clients in Spanish and Portuguese.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role covering Latin American clients. Prior experience must include three (3) years: accounting and financial modeling, including three-statement models with projections and valuation/Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analyses; modeling complex capital structures and waterfall/valuations for structured finance transactions; utilizing capital markets expertise to understand the demand of current investors in debt securities and analyze their propensity to participate in selected financing products; analyzing complex legal documents including credit documentation, accounting and regulatory statements, and debt and equity filings; experience negotiating financing transaction documents, including credit agreements, indentures, and collateral documents; liaising with bankers to develop financing and related risk management approaches for client needs; experience leading multiple workstreams for structured financing transactions with a minimum deal size of U.S. $500mm; experience in infrastructure and project financing transactions, including experience in transportation and power financings in emerging markets; conducting extensive due diligence and research on Latin American companies to determine credit risk to aid in decision-making and assemble transaction related materials; analyzing market data using Bloomberg. FINRA Series 63. Travel required. Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish required.
