Logistics Investment Analyst

The Logistics Investment Analyst's primary role will be to underwrite and transact on new Logistics property/portfolio investments (both acquisition and development) across the US for Brookfield's various investment vehicles.

  • Create financial models that generate projected investment cash flows and returns, to be presented to senior deal team members and used for formulating investment recommendations
  • Prepare presentation materials for the investment committee
  • In-depth due diligence of prospective investment opportunities (lease review, financial backup, etc.)
  • Perform financial analysis, and other economic analysis, for review by senior management
  • Continually stay up to date with market trends, pricing and the competition (acquisitions, dispositions, developments, leasing)
  • Collaboration with the broader Brookfield real estate platform on new business and value creation opportunities (diversified portfolios, corporate opportunities, mixed use investments, regional teams across the US / other global offices)
  • Other duties as assigned

  • 1-3 years of experience in Real Estate Acquisitions/Financing/Operations, Investment Banking or Investment Sales
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience using Argus Enterprise and proficiency in analyzing rent rolls and leases
  • Strong desire to develop investment acumen
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team, confident sharing ideas and suggestions
  • Ability to multi-task with good time management to meet multiple deadlines
