Analyst/Associate, Corporate Coverage- Diversified Industries
Business Overview:
Corporate Coverage North America is responsible for advising U.S. based corporate clients and delivering an array of the firm's services across strategically targeted client groups in various business sectors. The Diversified Industries / General Industrial Coverage team is largely responsible for managing corporate client relationships in the following industry sectors: U.S. Industrials, Building Products, Fleet Leasing, Aerospace & Defense and certain Auto Industry clients.

Responsibilities:
Marketing/Reporting
• Keep Senior Bankers (SB) & Marketing VP's up to date on all developments (financial and otherwise) in the covered sector(s) and the portfolio
• Develop content and own the pitch book process in close coordination with product teams
• Ability to prepare full financial models as deemed necessary
• Maintain databases of client and industry-wide financial information (including internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system)
• Create strategic sector and/or client presentation materials, with SB guidance, for both domestic and international review
• Develop product understanding and expertise with product specialists
• Provide support to the SB in their regular marketing/calling program
• Act as the principal back-up of the SB & Marketing VP vis-à-vis clients, the business lines and other departments of the bank
• Contribute to the initial credit assessment to determine the opportunities worth pursuing.
This should entail:
• discussing the proposed facility with the RM and relevant product specialists
• working in close to co-operation with the RM and credit analyst to contribute to the process
• Develop & maintain client/prospect fact sheets (ratings, exposure, opportunities, deals, etc.),
pipeline reports, product heat map, and weekly/monthly activity summaries
• Prepare and facilitate the internal approval of capital allocation via the Resource Allocation Committee (RAC) process
• Prepare and maintain annual client budget in coordination w/the SB, Corporate Platform, and various product areas
• Develop sectorial expertise and serve as internal resource for BNP Paribas globally
• Work on ad hoc projects and deals as needed

Know Your Client (KYC) & Operations
• Manage all client matters related to KYC, due diligence, Compliance, CSR, etc…
• Coordinate onboarding and re-certifications for corporate clients in the US
• Cultivate relationships with Due Diligence and Compliance teams domestically and abroad
• Act as a liaison for the SBO between Corporate Client Implementation team, Due Diligence, CARD/Recertification, Compliance and CSR to enhance the level of execution for our Corporate clients

Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 2 - 4 years' experience in Commercial or Investment Banking
• 2 - 4 years' experience of knowledge in Americas markets

FINRA Registrations Required:
