Location: New York, NY, USAWe are looking for an Analyst to join the Structured Finance 17g-7 team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing 17g-7 reports across various asset classes within structured finance and support other ad hoc special projects that require legal expertise. The role also provides opportunities to work with rating analysts on sourcing documents for reports and analysing certain legal documentation issues.
The role is ideal for candidates who have solid legal training and some relevant experience in reviewing and analyzing structured finance documents, and are interested in learning and contributing to the analysis of transactions from more than one sector.
- JD required with 5+ years of law practice experience. Experience in structured finance practice are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high priority on team work
- Ability to work under time pressure a critical factor while balancing multiple priorities
- Highest ethical standards
- Being able to work autonomously
- Highly organized and efficient, with ability to multi-task and able to meet tight deadlines
