A top-tier institutional asset management firm in midtown Manhattan is currently looking to hire an AVP, Internal Wholesaler, Offshore with 2 – 5 years of internal wholesaling / sales and marketing experience within the asset management industry. Fluency in Spanish is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Provide home office coverage of Offshore clients (Independent B/D’s, Global Banks, Family Offices, Private Banks etc.) 
  • Proactively engage Offshore firms/advisors by providing product information and sales support; scheduling meetings, developing sales strategies and managing client relationships, i.e. conveying pertinent events and marketing campaigns, sharing sales ideas, gathering marketing data
  • Reactively service clients to resolve issues or provide requested information
  • Opportunity identification via prospecting, profiling and other sales channel/ territory analysis
  • Manage client information in CRM and analyze potential opportunities for business development
  • Help coordinate Offshore marketing campaigns
  • Serve as a lead specialist representing Internal Offshore Sales in meetings with supporting departments

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish - spoken and written language skills required
  • 2 - 5+ years of internal wholesaling experience and/or 2 - 5+ years of sales and marketing experience within the asset management industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Superior product / industry knowledge
