You bring the ambition and talent; we'll open exciting new doors for you. Take the next step in your banking career with the Credit Suisse Summer Associate Program. In this challenging, rewarding 10-week summer program working on the Securities Research team, you develop your skills so you can influence tomorrow. Beginning with a one-day company orientation, you'll spend one week in training and nine weeks as an integral part of the Securities Research team. This position is part of our Sustainability, Research & Investment Solutions division, an industry leader in alternative investments driving the firm's global success.

Over the course of this program you continue to learn and develop through ongoing training, and hear from experienced senior employees from a variety of divisions in our summer speaker series. Mentorship opportunities help you identify your strengths and plan your career, while social activities, community service and networking events connect you with a range of people from across the firm. When you complete the program you will have gained crucial experience in all areas of the Sustainability, Research & Investment Solutions division, and a firm understanding of how a global investment bank functions. Once you've seen the big picture, it's time to paint your own.

Start date: June 2022

Duration: 10 weeks

Academic requirements: You should be graduating from an MBA program in December 2022 or May/June 2023.

Your field of responsibility

On our team, you will:
  • Spend one week in training and then work with one of our Senior Research Analysts on a two to five member team for the remainder of the summer
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of equity valuation and the overall investment process
  • Develop a well-rounded transferable skill set, including both quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Have exposure to other divisions at Credit Suisse, including the global sales force, equity traders, and instutional clients
  • Work on projects involving financial analysis and investigative research
  • Learn financial modeling and forecasting skills
  • Help produce creative and comprehensive research reports
  • Present convincingly and confidently about the sector and companies, understand the priorities of the franchise, and bring your own ideas and thoughts to the table

You will be working within the newly created Sustainability, Research, and Investment Solutions division, which provides support to a diverse client base (internal sales/trading teams, institutional clients, as well as Credit Suisse's esteemed private bank and international wealth management division).
