I am recruiting a function on behalf of an Asset Management organisation for VP of Data Governance Change Management. For this function you will need to have worked in a top 10 global Asset Manager and have a proven track record in delivering projects that have impacted a data work stream.

We will need with strong leadership and managerial skills, proven experience in collaborating across IT and business on cross divisional initiatives and program management to be part of the Regulatory Data coverage within the Data Office. Reporting to the Regulatory Data Lead within Data Office, the candidate will work closely with Regulatory Change Management and other support functions to create a Data Governance structure that will allow the business to ultimately improve it's Regulatory Reporting capabilities.

To be successful, the candidate will require excellent combination of Asset Management data knowledge, program management, people management, regulatory awareness and communication skills.

Primary Objectives are to adapt the enterprise wise Data Governance structure that will allow the business to ultimately improve its Regulatory Data Reporting & Analytics capabilities
Align the Data Strategy to ensure removal of legacy data domains, improvement of Data Lineage, Data Quality and Management practices
Develop a plan that brings together data, analytics, frontline tools and people to operate more efficiently and enable business opportunities

Main Responsibilities
* Assess the quality and strength of process currently in place in order to move toward a better defined and sustainable reporting process
* Address internal control effectiveness to gain comfort over reporting data accuracy and completeness
* Address data quality and integrity issues (i.e. ability to obtain the transactional, product and customer reference data granularity)
* Reduce reliance on manual processes when preparing reports by leveraging authorized data warehouses or vendor tools
* Implementing or improving governance structures to enhance monitoring and oversight for regulatory reporting
* Provide guidance to the Regulatory Change team on near and long-term approaches for data architecture, with the goal to align the regulatory plans with long term AM Data architecture
* Partner with Data Governance team to ensure all regulatory data is governed as per the principles outlined by the Data Office

Qualifications
* Diverse experience in Asset Management, Program Management, Data Management, and Regulatory Change
* 7+ years of experience in leading change programs within Asset Management
* Good understanding of Asset Management business, its products and activities
* Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders from business to operations, technology, audit, compliance and legal
* Experience of working in an international, multi-cultural organization and is mindful of challenges when working with multiple time-zones
* Proven familiarity with MiFID II and other key regulations impacting Asset Management industry
