Looking to onboard an Accounting professional to perform financial, accounting, and reporting functions.

PE fund manager that acquires defaulted commercial mortgages secured by real estate in New York City. The firm is growing quickly and looking to bring on exceptional individuals.

Description

  • Coordinate with and monitor third party fund administrators and auditors

  • Calculate investment fair value under GAAP, investment returns, and fund returns

  • Maintaining fund level track record

  • Support/facilitate investor relations, fund capital calls and distributions, quarterly and annual investor reporting, annual audits, SEC compliance

  • Review the books, financial statements, fund tax returns, investor capital statements, investor K-1s

  • Calculate investment pay-off amounts

  • Ability to track and administer property level insurance and property tax payments

Profile

  • 3-5 years of experience

  • CPA designation a plus

  • Real estate finance experience required

  • PE or audit experience with a public accounting firm a plus

  • Experience with private equity distribution waterfall calculations

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong work ethic
