A bulge bracket investment bank is heavily investing in and centralizing its firmwide CECL team, which is tasked with the end to end methodology design, modeling choices, execution, and documentation processes for the brank.

A bulge bracket investment bank is heavily investing in and centralizing its firmwide CECL team, which is tasked with the end to end methodology design, modeling choices, execution, and documentation processes for the brank. This group is hiring at the Associate, AVP and VP levels for CECL professionals who will be heavily involved in the design and implementation of the end state operating model. This is a growing, high exposure team with a direct line of contact to the CRO, and members of this group will be involved in.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Supporting the implementation of changes to CECL methodology and business operating model
  • Engaging with stakeholders across the organization for both business as usual and process reengineering, as well as Cost of Credit forecast aggregation and analysis
  • Analyzing and understanding the firmwide allowance portfolio and results
  • Performing various analytics and presenting findings to senior leadership to inform decision making

What We Need to See In You:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience for an Associate or AVP, 5+ years of relevant experience for a VP level candidate
  • Relevant experience working in credit methodology implementation, and experience related to reserving or stress testing
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Credit and modeling expertise with retail and/ore wholesale portfolio is highly encouraged
  • Strong problem solving and process re-engineering skills
