Your role : 
 
Are you an excellent communicator? Are you detail oriented, analytical, and passionate about the financial markets? Are you a performance driven individual?

We’re looking for someone who can:
– work closely with Financial Advisors, traders, legal, credit, operations, and other specialist sales teams to market and execute strategies for concentrated equity positions, including risk management, yield enhancement, and monetization trades
– develop marketing presentations using PowerPoint and Excel, and educate Financial Advisors and their U/HNW clients about the strategies
– maintain detailed records about marketing efforts and executed trades, and be proactive about managing life-cycle events of trades
– follow and manage to regulations, compliance policies, desk policies, and other procedures and guidelines
– supervise rotating analyst team member
 


Your team : 
 
You’ll be working in the OTC Equity Solutions Group , a joint venture between UBS Wealth Management and UBS Investment Bank, based in UBS's corporate headquarters in New York City. You will market and execute over-the-counter equity derivative strategies (e.g., puts, calls, prepaid forward contracts, collars, and loans) to assist U/HNW clients manage the risk of their concentrated equity positions. You will work closely with UBS IB traders, legal, credit, and operations groups, and with WMA sales teams, managers, and Financial Advisors.


Your experience and skills : 
 
You have:
– a degree from a highly accredited university with a degree in business administration, management, finance, economics, or other analytical field
– 3 to 5 years of experience in a capital markets or related financial services role
– strong verbal, written, and analytical skills
– proficiency using PowerPoint and Excel to design presentations and model strategies
– good communication and proven sales skills

You are able to:
– set priorities and manage deadlines
– work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team structure
– adapt your marketing/sales style for a broad range of complex products and client situations
– use available resources to continually learn about the financial markets, securities laws, tax rules, credit risk, and market risk
– develop and maintain strong relationships
