Your role

Are you eager to support UBS's business development? Do you have strong product / business knowledge in Investment Banking / Wealth Management? Would you thrive in driving results and delivering on strategic initiatives in a dynamic and diverse environment? We’re looking for someone to:
-coordinate the development, assessment and approval of new products and new services, changes to existing business and complex transactions under the New Business Governance framework
-provide advice to project managers with regards to internal approval framework, strategic prioritization and risk-based evaluation of change initiatives;
-interact with Senior Business Sponsors, Operating Officers, Business Project Managers and Control Functions (Compliance & operational Risk, Finance, Treasury, Legal, Operations, Risk Control, Tax) and closely cooperate with new business governance colleagues from the global team.

Your team

You will be reporting to the new business governance divisional Lead for Investment Banking, Global Wealth Management or Corporate Center. We are part of the Group Structure and Governance unit, within the Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance function. We ensure efficient run-the-bank structures and enable effective change-the-bank delivery across the firm, aiming to reduce organizational complexity and enhance clarity and agility.

Your expertise

You have:
-a university degree in finance, economics, business administration or numerical discipline;
-at least five years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in business development, risk management, compliance and/or product management, change governance, new product approval governance or product due diligence;
-an in-depth understanding of Wealth Management or Investment Banking - preferably from working at UBS;
-strong analytical skills, sound judgment capabilities and the ability to critically assess complex proposals. 
-prior experience with evaluation, due diligence and approval of new products or service, markets location or entities in the financial industry. 

You are:
-thriving under pressure and able to play an active role in delivering the UBS strategy and change initiatives;
-a strong communicator and effective in managing senior stakeholders;
-able to challenge the status quo and constructively contribute to and advise business and process improvements and approvals;
-team-orientated, while reliable when working independently;
- versed in Investment Banking or Wealth Management products and organizational set up 
-fluent in English
