We are a global Transfer Agency Services team, supporting U.S. and Offshore based mutual funds, 529 plans, Closed End Funds and Retail and Institutional money markets.
In this role, you will have multi-functional responsibility for collaborating with various teams across BlackRock to support Blue Sky, Commission and Service Fee payments and 22c2 trade reviews as well as the associated reporting required for each. You will also work closely with our transfer agent providers and intermediary partners to ensure appropriate controls and processes are in place.
Monitor, research and report on Short Term Trading reviews (22c-2)
Ensure accurate Fund Financial Reporting
Support the Blue Sky registrations through oversight of vendor and ensuring accurate reporting
Perform daily Trade Blotter Review and Sign-off
Complete 529 and 12b-1 Commissions payment processing and reporting
Participate in the review of New Intermediary Agreements
Ensure Dealer Terminations are completed timely
Review Escheatment files and ensure accurate and timely processing
You have a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the mutual fund operations area with experience in transfer agency or brokerage
You must have a deep understanding of intermediary and transfer agency operations
You must prioritize relationship management skills – the ability to work with senior leadership, key clients and internal teams
You find opportunities for enhancements or service initiatives and aim to completion
You have advanced Excel skills, including ability to write macros
You have strong interpersonal and customer service skills
You are able to work both independently and in a group environment
You need to be detail-orientated and time sensitive
