You'll be able to join our growing global Localization team that supports Bloomberg sales efforts by providing products for the Spanish, Portuguese, German or French speaking market. You will also have the opportunity to build custom workflows and integrations with our Engineering team, so we would also like to see technical aptitude using Python, SQL, Java, Javascript or C++.

You need to have:

  • Demonstrated project or work experience using one or more of the following programming languages Python, SQL, Java, Javascript or C++
  • Experiences as a team player including excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication across teams

  • Excellent prioritization and organization skills with the ability to manage projects, balance independent tasks / goals while contributing to team goals and collaborating with other team members
  • Strong knowledge of Localization processes and familiarity with CAT tools, MT/MT retraining, and terminology management
  • Ability to effectively adapt to changing tools, technologies and work flows, and to actively contribute to improve processes for localization
  • Ability to collaborate with management in the development of product documentation and guidelines
  • Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States and will not require visa sponsorship now and in the future

We'd love to see:
  • Prior work experience in the language industry, information technology, finance or data analysis
  • Exposure to Bloomberg products such as the Bloomberg Professional Service
  • Established presence in virtual development communities such as GitHub, Stack Overflow and HackerRank
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikSense
