The Role: Lead Software Developer
The Location: Princeton, NJ
Grade Level: 11 (internal purpose only)

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $67,600 - $190,100 . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus/a sales commission plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Work on all aspects of software development life cycle following agile methodologies.
  • Must be able to complete a complex software lifecycle: scope, design, code, test and implement
  • Debug and test existing application programs
  • Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy phases of development projects.
  • Write optimal SQL queries and store-procedures to ensure good performance for database operations
  • Apply Object-Oriented Design and Programming to build component-based middle-tier RESTful web services with high throughput.
  • Conduct project design sessions and design solutions to meet current project requirements and be flexible enough to accommodate futures project needs.
  • Performs reviews and integration testing to assure the quality of project development efforts.
  • Ensure project tasks are assigned and completed promptly and project milestone dates are met.
What We're Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 8+ years of in-depth development experience: C#, .Net core, Task Parallel Library, Entity Framework.
  • Experience performing object-oriented design and building backend applications with REST API services using .net core
  • Experience with Agile development
  • Experience with DBMS such as SQL and advanced query techniques (including Analysis Services)
  • Experience in AWS technologies (e.g. EC2, RDS, ALB, Auto-scaling, S3, IAM, CloudWatch) to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution
  • Hands-on experience on AWS services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security)
  • Hands-on experience in Container technologies like Docker/ Docker enterprise, ECS, EKS, etc.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and modern CI/CD deployment models using Jenkins/Ansible
  • Experience leading a team of engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of software code for business applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching for less experienced team members.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Gather information from the Product Owners to understand and develop project requirements.
  • Conduct project design sessions and design solutions to meet current project requirements and be flexible enough to accommodate futures project needs.
  • Performs reviews and integration testing to assure the quality of project development efforts.
  • Ensure project tasks are assigned and completed promptly and project milestone dates are met.
  • Nice to have - Kubernetes for automate deploy, scaling, monitoring, and management of containerized applications.
  • AWS Certified preferable - AWS Certified Solution Architect - Associate
