About this role
BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. seeks Associate, Software Engineering in Princeton, NJ to work with Product Managers to capture and analyze requirements for new deliverables. Req's: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: building highly interactive data driven Web Applications with Angular 2+ or React; utilizing Typescript, JavaScript and RXJS (State management); and building responsive web layouts using HTML/CSS and CSS pre-processors, including LESS/SCSS; working with CSS Media queries to cater to a range of screen sizes, including Desktops, Tablets, and Mobile phones; and charting libraries, including High Charts, Highstock, and D3 to present data in various charts or graphs. Must have 1 year of experience working with investment products related data, including Historical product Net Asset Value (NAV), Price and performance, Fixed Income and Equity analytics, and Portfolio Risk; working with Web layouts or data and Application performance; and planning and executing multiple projects within the constraints of timelines and budgets.
