Job Description

The IT Auditor focuses on IT audits which include IT Applications and/or infrastructure. This position performs and documents audit test steps for assigned audits, generally focused on less critical areas of the audit. The IT Auditor independently assesses control design and operating effectiveness.

Requirements

•Performs assigned test steps for audits, findings, follow-up, etc., forming conclusions and documenting in database. Includes some discussion with business line. Participates in routine audits in performing assigned test steps.
•Receives on the job training, coaching sessions from in-charge auditor, manager.
•Performs work from end to end under supervision of auditor in charge.
•Investigates and implements straightforward problem resolution within own area of responsibility.
•Obtains appropriate training.

  • Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.


  • Qualifications

    •Bachelor's degree Less than 1 year experience
    •Strong oral and written communication skills
    •Working knowledge of auditing principles and practices
    •PC skills (MS Office Suite)
    •Works well independently and with others
    •Exercises good judgment
    •Ability to complete tasks timely and accurately
    •Escalates issues and delays quickly
    •Travel 25% or more
