Role Value Proposition:
Our small team offers analysts the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while being trained by seasoned Investment professionals. The Derivatives Analyst will work closely with our derivatives traders and portfolio managers. They will provide market surveillance, pre-trade analysis, trade entry and position reporting. Analysts also benefit from on-the-job training, online development tools and continuing education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-trade analysis and modeling
  • Position reporting and ad-hoc risk analysis and project work
  • Monitoring risk, positions and P&L
  • Trade entry
  • Providing weekly market commentary

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree. Economics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Engineering, or Science majors preferred
  • 0-2 years of work experience preferred. Knowledge of Derivatives a plus
  • Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, embrace a steep learning curve, and seek out responsibility
  • Programming skills a plus (VBA, SQL, C++, etc.)
