Sr Specialist, Tech Sales Cons
Serves as the functional liaison between AM/RM/BD teams and clients/prospects during the sales process. Advises on proposals of moderate to large scope, often involving multiple products and/or requiring some detailed customization or adaptation to client needs.Advises the internal AM/RM/BD teams on structuring the functional approach to a client/prospect proposal.Works directly with clients/prospects to understand their functional needs/specifications and integration requirements; interprets and translates into proposed solutions; then articulates these findings back to the client to ensure they understand what the organization intends to propose.Provides the functional documentation for RFI and RFP responses; liaises with product and technology teams to ensure solutions proposed are within the organization's capabilities. Collaborates with functional teams to find solutions to unprecedented client requests.Makes client visits with the AM/RM/BD team; assists in identifying opportunities for incremental sales, change orders, upgrades, etc.; may demonstrate functional capabilities to clients.Expands breadth of knowledge on organization products and offerings.No direct reports; may provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.Contributes to the achievement of area objectives; works on client initiatives of moderate to large scope and increased complexity. Qualifications
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
