Position: Senior Associate in New York, NY (and various unanticipated worksites throughout U.S.)

Duties: Analyze business requirements and specifications and translate them into functional and technical requirements. Work with the Solution Architect to define technical requirements in line with target technical solutions. Transform conceptual architecture into detailed design documents. Design technology solutions for specific projects in collaboration with the Domain Architect and Business Analyst. Provide technical guidance to project teams throughout the project life-cycle. Create logical and physical design structures. Participate in evaluation of new technologies, business planning, and technology roadmap development. Create and maintain project design artifacts.

Requirements: Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus 3 years of experience performing integration of illustration software within back-end systems or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience as stated above.One year of experience must include: Developing and implementing software for life insurance products; Utilizing ACORD data exchange format to transfer data; Defining and developing Service-oriented Architecture; Analyzing business requirements and translating requirements into technical specifications, system diagrams and design documents; Creating detailed integration specifications and communicating specifications to vendors; Supporting business data and reporting needs, performing data analytics, and delivering specialized reports; Performing SQL database development, including writing queries and stored procedures, implementing procedures, and generating reports; and Performing database ETL, and loading data into SQL and other systems such as SalesForce and Data Warehouse.
