Product Management - IC5 • Leads Product Management, Development andStrategy for large and/or complex products and a dedicated "product capability"area for the Collateral & Financing Business. Within the Agile Development Framework, theSenior Product Specialists acts as the primary agile owner of the product,empowered to make all product decisions. Usually assigned to product areas withhigh-growth potential or that represent a niche/specialty offering and hasfully developed core expertise on industry trends, market segments andcompetitor services/offerings. Analyzes complex client requirements anddevelops solutions that may include more than one product. Must understand theeconomics behind products and demonstrate business acumen. Responsible for craftingthe strategies behind product development and delivery. Must have marketknowledge to integrate the demands of various regions and stay ahead ofcompetitors. Is directly responsible for product profitability across a rangeof large, complex, global products. Ensures Operations, Technology, Risk,Compliance, Legal, etc. team concerns are addressed during the productdevelopment, enhancement, delivery, strategy, and planning processes. Employs aclient-focused, strategic approach to develop the business case for firmofferings in the marketplace through in-depth and complex analyses on clientsegments, competitive landscape and industry environment. Demonstrates in-depthand comprehensive knowledge of assigned products, the marketplace and client needsto drive product growth/development and maximize profitability. Seen as a firmexpert on a key product or product portfolio of strategic importance to thefirm. Creates product management roadmaps and establishes evaluation criteriaand success metrics. Oversees pricing, promotion, distribution strategies andcompetitive differentiators. Positions products for specific client segments,highlighting key benefits and competitive advantages. Works with sales andrelationship management teams to support sales efforts and close on deals asneeded. May also be responsible for revenue goals, profitability, and pricingfor assigned products along with capital and operating budgets. Guides juniorproduct managers and directs and works with operations and systems managersduring product implementation to ensure operating plan goals are met. No directreports. Provides guidance to less experienced colleagues as needed.Contributes to the achievement of area objectives and profitability of assignedproduct(s). Experience as a Product Ownerfor a software development team using rigorous Scrum structure and experiencein the derivatives, collateral or securities finance industry preferred.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 10-12 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in Product Management, operations, client management preferred. MBA or CFA preferred. Product Leadership Certification preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
