Liquidity Reporting - Asset Classification Specialist - Corporate Finance / Accounting Jersey City - United States
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Responsible for monthly review of asset classification and allocation (sources/uses logic) Conduct comprehensive review of criteria conditions for classification, periodic review of efficiency gain on reporting process Cross Report transversal review of asset classifications for consistency and reconciliation (Stress Testing, 5G, funding reports, LCR calculation etc) Maintain collateral reporting and control review monitoring, including verifying securities balances with line of business Production responsibility of weekly and monthly stress testing reporting Manage production issues including downstream feed issues and follow up data enhancements with system projects Assist in regulator reviews and internal audit reviews Participate in projects of system automations and enhancements, model user-acceptance-testing (UAT) Participate in projects of control framework on enhancing data quality reviews and documentations Short term solution to stabilize data reporting by use of excel or other tools, including macro to facilitate reporting needs Knowledge of broker dealer business, including FCM activities, clearing and prime broker Knowledge of financial products (derivatives, equity and fixed income securities, currencies, structured products, deferred commission assets, commodities, commercial paper, private equity, hedges)

Liquidity production is responsible for producing, reconciling and distributing Daily/Weekly/Monthly liquidity reports to SG's ALM and RISK teams as well as senior management and regulators. This team has three primary roles in that they have a dedicated dashboard reporting team, a liquidity stress testing team and a 2052a regulatory reporting team. This role is to have a dedicated resource focused on 2052a (5G) reporting.
