We are responsible for the strategy, engineering, and strategic deployment activities for all end user services including mobile services, Windows physical and virtual desktop, Mac, Microsoft 365, email, chat, collaboration, and related technologies. The Role Workplace Technology Collaboration Services is seeking a Collaboration Specialist (Sharepoint/Office365). We are chartered with the responsibility of core engineering for Collaboration solutions including SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019, Confluence, Jive, Yammer and survey solutions. You should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to efficiently multi-task. You will have a strong focus on the end user consumption of services, and a style that builds trust and inspires loyalty. You should be motivated, proactive, and able to learn/adapt quickly. Key Responsibilities: Continue to innovate our Collaboration solutions with an emphasis on end user productivity Facilitate governance planning, leading discussions that will guide long-term administration and use of our solutions Communicate and provide content on future service enhancements, pending changes, and general best practices Maintain our social communities, engaging with end users to provide direction and consuming feedback as you seek continuous improvement opportunities Maintain frequent communication with peers and Technology partners to provide awareness of issues, changes to processes, and alignment of roadmap items Provide on-demand training for new features/solutions, crafting end user content and driving end user adoption Build interactive reports to show solution consumption, trends, overall adoption rates along with visibility into LOBs individual areas Identify and address new requirements such as application integration points Provide 3rd tier support for point of escalation from our Operations team Subject matter expert in at least one of the tools/techologies used in the space. Participates in or leads initiatives to analyze infrastructure problems to be solved with advanced design. Utilizes standard procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Manages the processes for ensuring that all systems/applications/software/hardware are compliant with Corporate policy/procedures. Monitors project plans and budgets. Contributes to developing and monitoring the organization's technology architecture and future technology vision. Develops reports in conjunction with the Fellow Architect which demonstrate business opportunities and road map strategies that add business value. Drafts proposals on infrastructure architecture needs for M&A activity, and supports the creation of executive summaries. This person is a subject matter expert in at least one of the tools/techologies used in the space. Consults and advises application development groups on solution architecture design.monitoring implmentation; recommending solutions based on BNYM and industry best practices. Acts as the lead for major incident resolution. Drives strategy to increase automation across the organization.
