Associate, Software Engineer
Duties: Support Back Office and Front Office Applications in the Investment Management business, including the application development of feeds, reports, straight thru processing from front office applications, and the intra-day/overnight processing for the Eagle Accounting suite. Responsible for the development of the accounting platform including tactical enhancements, application upgrades, new application rollouts, performance tuning and provide a depth of both business and technology service to the whole organization. Application Development of related projects/enhancements/bus fixes for the accounting platform. Strong ETL Knowledge Informatica and good analytical skills in analyzing the complex ETL build for Asset and Trade Workflows. Apply experience with Oracle DB, Performance Tuning, Shell Scripting and Control M scheduling Tool. Apply knowledge of the existing integration and workflows with systems that provide data to Eagle and also with those that we provide data to. Responsible for troubleshooting unique to JPMC business issues, solving problems to provide solutions with to diverse teams and the product aligned support areas within JPMC. Work with other Back Office Technology teams to make appropriate changes that will enhance the stability of the overall environment., and existing knowledge of the interaction between these system is essential. Participate in the Incident and problem management processes. Provide relationship management internally with the back office, trade support, and at times front office teams. Navigate the wider technology organization; build relationships to help the team's agenda with our critical technology partners. Interface with external vendors and their technical support and development organizations ensuring focus to resolution of issues and strategic enhancements. Proactively identify improvements and address them through independent thinking within a consensus driven team.

Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum experience required: 5 years of experience in ETL development using Informatica, or related experience.

Skills Required: Must have Oracle/DB experience with demonstrated knowledge on performance tuning. Must have Agile development experience. Must have Unix Shell scripting experience. Must have XML experience. Must have Control-M experience. Must have experience in Data warehouse. Must have experience in data modeling. Must have experience with Teradata.
