Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Jersey City, NJ. Review daily and monthly performance for separately managed accounts, managed by the firm's Investment Management Division. Decompose Profit & Loss ("P&L") by attributing the performance to different factors and comparing them to benchmarks, where applicable. Provide daily valuation oversight and price verification of positions held in the firm's mutual funds, including but not limited to interest rate swaps, inflation linked interest rate products, credit default swaps, total return swaps, and fixed income securities, including mortgage backed securities, asset backed securities, emerging market debt, investment grade bonds, high yield bonds, government bonds. Interact with independent fund administrators to resolve daily valuation questions and ensure that administrators are adhering to the firm's valuation policies. Assist in the development of a valuation and price verification framework for newly traded derivatives and securities; in conjunction with technology, operations and portfolio management.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting. Three years (3) of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Bloomberg, Intex Valuation Models and Structured Product Models; Advanced Valuation techniques including Discounted Cash Flow Modelling and Fixed Income Yield Analysis; valuation of securitized products including residential mortgage backed securities and asset backed securities; performance measurement techniques including Time Weighted Return, Internal Rate of Return and Normalized Return or Cash Flow projections under stress scenarios; identifying performance and valuation risks, and implementing a control framework to alleviate such risks; basic coding language including SQL and VBA; and synchronizing and delivering accurate board, and management reporting across various legal and geographical jurisdictions.
