As a Barclays Data Governance Analyst, you will be assisting with the implementation of Wholesale Client Onboarding & Group Financial Crime Operations data strategy. You will focus on strengthening the organization's data management operations and expanding the use of data to inform support innovative work. You will govern and track the operation of all processes for maintenance, and adherence to the Data Management Standards and business owner of the GDMS (Global Data Management Steering Committee) plans.

What will you be doing?
• Participating in monthly forums for senior stakeholders to ensure data strategy meets expectations of key customers • Tracking, managing and governing proactive and reactive data validations for all Critical Data Elements • Completing data dictionary and data lineage work in support of data strategy for Wholesale Client Onboarding & Group Financial Crime Operations • Ensuring appropriate data governance standards are upheld, providing control oversight of the c160 Critical Data Elements, and ensuring customer data standards are followed • Partnering with Technology organization to ensure logical and physical data models exist for critical data elements • Partnering with Chief Data Office organization to oversee data remediation plan activity for wholesale data relating to Identify, Client Hierarchies and Wholesale Customer Data • Ability to engage across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders at a senior level across the Barclays International and Barclays International COO Organization

• Deep understanding of technology and data infrastructure across a heavily regulated environment • Understanding of data management standards and data governance principles • Knowledge of KYC Onboarding within financial services
