Jacobs Levy Equity Management, located in Florham Park, NJ, is seeking a C# Engineer/Developer for application development. This role will assist in building and maintaining C# GUI and workflow application systems that support our Back-Office business operations.

Primary Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for back-office operation applications in the firm, including the following:

  • Partner with Finance, Accounting and Compliance on how best to use the technology platform to optimize the business processes
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and incorporate User Experience (UX) enhancements to the workflow management applications
  • Work closely with the development team to incorporate additional data feeds, and design and develop visual workflows
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to product quality: provide manual testing of the applications as needed and automate comprehensive testing
  • Facilitate QA and UAT efforts for production systems
  • Build scripts and utility tools to help the development team, as needed

 

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in C# programming, experience with C++ is a big plus
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry is required
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Solid working knowledge of back-office workflows and operations is required
  • Knowledge of Accounting processes; Working knowledge of Advent Geneva is a plus
  • Able to deliver product enhancements on time with quality in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Strong troubleshooting and reasoning skills
