As Manager - Quality Assurance, you will lead a team of Quality Assurance Engineers to assure consistent quality of the nCino bank operating system. This management position will ensure all external and internal requirements are met before the nCino product reaches our customers. Candidate must have a great attitude, enthusiasm and drive to consistently deliver a high-quality product. nCino is a fast-paced environment which requires the ability to multitask and remain flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor team members supporting long-term career development
  • Develop team focusing on technology, testing methodologies, and continuous delivery
  • Oversee the software testing lifecycle and Agile/Scrum process
  • Understand the software development lifecycle and how QA fits into that strategy
  • Guide creation, enhancement and execution of new feature tests and regression tests
  • Ensure all functional and non-functional requirements are met
  • Lead efforts to enhance and make the testing process more efficient
  • Define, track, and analyze metrics to improve efficiency and quality of the testing process
  • Identify risks and mitigation for complex testing projects
  • Encourage innovation and inclusion

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years experience, with 1+ years management experience or combination experience, education, & superior performance with strong focus on test automation
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, collaboration, and people management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Energy and drive; continually looking for opportunities to improve the platform, process, and business

Desired:

  • Prior experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with test automation and widely used programming languages/libraries (e.g. Java, Js, Selenium)
  • Experience designing, creating and executing automated tests
  • Experience in an Agile testing environment
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development framework
