As an In-App Guidance Specialist, you will be setting the vision and design standards for any In-App Guidance application build within the nCino application both internally and externally and help influence the strategy of nCinos user experience. This role will work with key stakeholders from multiple departments to align user insights, innovation, and requirements with business objectives. This role will also focus on future vision concepts and ensuring solutions work on multiple scales as well as internationally. The In-App Guidance Specialist will also manage the relationships with third-party vendors to advise both the customer and the vendor on nCino best practices during the In-App Guidance implementation.



  • Guide the direction of the future vision of the in-app guidance capabilities and user experience focus within the nCino Bank Operating System across solutions and geographies
  • Take on the responsibility of owning the interaction and experience of specific in-app guidance product solutions within the nCino Bank Operating System
  • Work across departments specifically, but not limited to, working closely with the User Experience/User Interface team, nIQ team and Technical Writing Content team.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for all In-App Guidance internal and external options Salesforce In-App Guidance, Gainsight PX Guides, WalkMe, WhatFix, Spekit and Pendo to name a few.
  • Drive the relationships between nCino and these above-mentioned third-party vendors.
  • Build In-App Guidance queues and walkthroughs across these various In-App Guidance vendor options for our managed package or assist customers with their implementation with any third party In-App Guidance vendors.
  • Understand the nCino Bank Operating System product well and collaborate with the nCino Trainers and Adoption Services team to target areas within our product that would be areas where added In-App Guidance would assist adoption from our customer base.
  • Steer the companys point of view on best practices for In-App Guidance both internal and external options
  • Help ensure a consistent and delightful user experience across the nCino Bank Operating System


  • Increased user adoption with the usage of In-App Guidance
  • Expert product knowledge across all current and future options for In-App Guidance
  • Stay up to date on vendor relationships and product enhancement
  • Industry knowledge as the point person for nCino for In-App Guidance for our customers


  • nCino product knowledge
  • Technical aptitude ability to configure/build in-app navigation
  • Advocate of customer adoption
  • Strong business acumen with ability to understand technology and value proposition analysis
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a cross-functional teams to align and coordinate internal resource
  • Strategic planning abilities with strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated individual, with strong work ethic, and exceptional follow up skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations, and comfortable in public speaking



  • Bachelors Degree in Design, Computer Science or related fields
  • 2+ years of Relationship Management, Design, Consulting or Software experience
  • Experience and knowledge of the high-tech software industry


  • Knowledge of the platform
  • Banking industry knowledge
  • Graphic design or Instructional Design experience


  • Willing to travel to partner/client locations both domestically and internationally. May require up to 20% travel.
