Strategic Analysis & Reporting - M&A Financial Analyst # 127624

We Offer
The Strategic Analysis & Reporting team provides financial analysis, performance reporting, and operational support to the banking groups within IBCM (Investment Banking & Capital Markets), in partnership with the COO (Chief Operating Office) population. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) group at Credit Suisse, one of the top M&A franchises on the Street.
  • Directly support the COO and Group Heads with accurate and timely financial reporting and market share analysis
  • Work with M&A bankers to provide ad hoc financial and market analysis, to support client business and planning efforts
  • Collaborate with group management on business reviews and strategic planning presentations
  • Maintain internal client coverage and financial systems, ensure data integrity of IBCM reporting systems
  • Utilize state of the art business intelligence tools to manipulate large datasets and provide actionable analysis to senior management
  • Collaborate with a diverse team in Raleigh which supports all of IBCM's banking groups

You Offer
  • You have advanced Excel spread sheet skills and comfort in working with large datasets
  • You have strong communication skills with excellent written and oral, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface directly with people at all title levels and in remote locations
  • Uncompromising work ethic, attention to detail, ability to multitask and work effectively under tight deadlines is essential. Accessibility and responsiveness to requests is critical
  • You are well organized with good prioritization skills and excellent judgment
  • You have the ability to problem-solve independently, dedicatedly investigate market activity, work with large data sets efficiently, and think creatively in analyzing data
  • Experience (1-3 years) in investment banking or capital markets preferred, ideally with some familiarity/experience in market analysis (Dealogic, Thomson, etc.)
  • You have accounting/Finance degree (advanced degree and/or certification) preferred
  • Experience with Tableau and/or Alteryx is beneficial
