Part-Time Project Coordinator - Corporate Citizenship)

  1. Employee Engagement Program
  • Oversees local Community Engagement programs ensuring premier execution of volunteer and related events
  • Manages internal client relationships serving as the primary contact for Raleigh employees and Philanthropy Working Group. Ensures local activities are in alignment with Corporate Citizenship goals, guidelines, processes and procedures); responds to employee inquiries
  • Provides assistance with tracking of employee participation in philanthropic activities: complete quarterly data entry via CCTT; build registration links and troubleshoot CCTT issues with employees; follow-up with event managers for outstanding event registration
  • Represents the function at internal events and otherwise ensures coverages for things like new hire orientation and employee network activities
  • Assist with execution of local programming, with emphasis on program awareness and communications

- Holiday Charity Initiative
- Long-term and Skills-based volunteer programs
- Nonprofit Board Service Program

  • Manages and reports on Raleigh volunteer budget; may include expense processing
  • Undertakes special projects as assigned
2. Communications and Reporting
  • Contribute to communications for internal clients and other partners, e.g. Foundation BOD, Global Corp. Cit. function
  • Projects include, but not limited to:

- This Month in Corporate Citizenship "TMCC " (monthly NY newsletter)

- Quarterly Global Management Updates

- Monthly Corporate Citizenship Instagram submissions
- Giving Back Awards video and other related communications

- Annual Corporate Citizenship Factsheet

3. Employee Volunteer Grant Program
  • Handles the program including understanding program eligibility and guidelines as well as grants application tool (Cybergrants) in order to handle employee inquiries
  • Reviews all Americas Employee Volunteer Grant program submissions on a periodic basis and provides summary of approvals/declines for approval
  • Oversees and administers payments processing
  • Provides reporting on program and budget usage as needed
  • Completes data entry for respective programs in CCTT
4. Core Grantees
  • Plays an active role in coordinating the identification of grantees based on Foundation criteria from varied collaborators including the Philanthropy Working Group and senior leadership
  • Supports Director of Grantmaking in prioritizing grant recommendations based on Foundation criteria
  • Contribute in thought-leadership events as relates to our grantee partners, employees, and clients
  • Handles administrative work related to distribution of grants
  • Assists with development of materials related to grant recommendations to be presented to the Foundation Board of Directors

You Offer

The ideal candidate will be able to accommodate a work schedule of 20 hours per week. Additional experience includes but is not limited to....
  • Prior experience in corporate citizenship programs including grantmaking, giving or matching programs preferred, especially in a corporate setting preferred
  • Prior experience with Credit Suisse internal systems and processes is a plus!
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a small staff and with people from diverse backgrounds and levels of seniority across business groups and functions
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in a variety of media including web, email, and special events
  • Highly ambitious, strong attention to detail, data management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle large scale special events with multiple partners
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
