Instrument Reference Data Analyst

IRD is looking for a someone to fill a key role that handles financial instrument data for the Global Markets division. This role is complex and rewarding, and provides you the opportunities to learn about the financial markets, trade processing, and banking technology, as well as opportunities to interact with business partners across a variety of business areas and corporate functions. IRD is a global organization with over 130 staff based across the US, UK, Poland, Switzerland, India, and Singapore. You will:
  • Build and maintain financial instruments across asset classes in Credit Suisse systems
  • Monitor market events and changes to ensure financial instruments is reflective of the street
  • Leverage data quality controls to ensure financial instrument data is complete, accurate, and timely for the firm
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives covering operational efficiencies, architecture simplification programs, new business requirements, and more
  • Engage with internal clients and external suppliers daily
  • Partner with supporting business analyst, project management, and technology teams
  • Collaborate with a highly motivated team of process specialists in a fast-paced, team-centric environment
  • Develop and grow across multiple skillsets and competencies

You Offer
  • You possess knowledge and understanding of global financial markets and financial instruments
  • You are proficient in using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) and the analysis of large datasets
  • You can communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely, both in writing and verbally
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in the banking/financial industries
  • You are open to learning new skills and taking on new challenges
  • You can collaborate effectively as a great teammate and build positive relationships with colleagues and business partners
  • You can occasionally support the team after-hours and weekends if required
  • You have some professional experience within an international organization
